The Lincoln Aviator is a three-row mid-sized SUV with a long and distinguished pedigree that stretches back to 2002. It combines style and comfort, the hallmarks of every Lincoln, with a smooth driving experience and large cargo capacity. As your Detroit Lincoln dealership, we want to tell you more about its latest incarnation, the 2024 Aviator.

Trim Levels

The 2024 Aviator offers three trim levels, the Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label. Unlike many other car makes, the standard trim level doesn’t lack either technology safety, or comfort features. As you rise in trim levels, additional features simply add more touches of luxury and sophistication. Most features of higher trim levels are also offered as optional extras for the standard trim.

Engine and Transmission

All three trim levels utilize a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine with auto stop-start facility. Despite its size, this fuel-efficient engine reaches 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway with the standard RWD on the Premiere and Reserve trims. If you choose the Black Label, with its intelligent AWD, fuel efficiency maintains a healthy 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift technology on all trim levels.

Handling

Great handling is a key part of the Lincoln experience, and the Aviator packs a variety of systems to give you a smooth driving experience. Lincoln drive modes are standard on all three trims. This feature allows you to customize your driving with your mood. Changing your selection allows you to alter suspension settings, shift points, steering, and ride height, all by turning a knob on the console.

A lane-keeping system, electric power-assisted steering, traction control, and post-collision braking are offered with all trim levels. Additional optional or standard systems on the two higher trims include reverse brake assist, evasive steering assist, adaptive suspension, and air glide suspension.

Interior Features

When you open the doors on the Aviator, the first thing you’ll absorb is the luxurious and roomy seating. Heated front seats are standard, and options are available, depending on your trim selection, for heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, dual captain chairs for the second row, and 30-way power-assisted front seats.

Standard infotainment features include a 10.1″ LCD touchscreen, intelligent access with push-button start, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, Intelligent cruise control, a panoramic vista roof with sunshade, and two speaker system upgrades. Four USB slots will keep your devices fully charged, and a wireless charging pad is an additional option.

There are numerous other options you can add to fully personalize your Aviator. Visit us today at Bob Maxey Lincoln for a test drive and to decide which features you want to add to your new Lincoln.
