Milk & Froth

When you want something special for dessert, hop in your spacious 2023 Lincoln Corsair and head over to Milk & Froth. Located at 535 Griswold St in Detroit, Milk and Froth serves excellent made-from-scratch iced desserts. The shop is located downtown, so it’s easy to get there, and the Corsair’s second-row seats slide back a full six inches so the kids can easily get in and out.

Milk and Froth is an artisanal shop that serves classic dairy and non-dairy flavors. If you’re vegan, you’ll be excited about the variety on the menu with non-dairy flavors like cookies and cream, roasted strawberry, and peppermint cream. Milk and Froth is open Sunday through Thursday 1-9 and Saturday and Sunday 1-10.

Detroit Water Ice Factory

Detroit Water Ice Factory is a parlor that sells colorful iced treats and other goodies. Located on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Detroit Water Ice Factory is an eatery set up to support local worthy causes. Founded by journalist Mitch Albom, all profits from the shop go to Say Detroit, a charity that supports health care, education, and veterans initiatives in Detroit.

Detroit Water Ice Factory serves water ice and soft serve in a variety of flavors. Water ice is a fantastic concoction of crushed ice in yummy flavors like black cherry Bordeaux and banana. They also have Motown Twist, a delightful combo of vanilla or chocolate soft serve with one of their water ice flavors. This dessert shop is located at 1014 Woodward Ave in Detroit. They are open 12-8 Monday through Saturday and 12-6 on Sunday.

Treat Dreams

Treat Dreams is located in Midtown Detroit and serves up creatively prepared frozen treats. This fantastic shop has locally made and hand-packed desserts in a variety of cool blends, including vanilla cola, Cookie Monster, sweet corn, and vegan blue moon. Try the butter beer flavor and salted caramel while you’re there!

Treat Dreams is located at  4160 Cass Ave in Detroit. Store hours are 12-9 Sunday through Thursday and Friday/Saturday 12-9:30.
