2023 Lincoln Aviator

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is a luxurious three-row SUV that provides the power, comfort, and space you need to truly enjoy a luxurious driving experience. Keep reading to learn more about the Aviator and what has changed in the 2023 model year.

The Aviator was first introduced to the Lincoln lineup in 2019 as the midsize younger brother of the Navigator, and shares many of the same design features, including Lincoln’s distinctive bold grille, chrome brand accents, and sleek door panels. The interior matches the luxury of the exterior, with available six or seven-seat configurations complemented by wood and metal accents and leather seats.

Powertrain Options

Beyond the luxurious design that is Lincoln’s hallmark, the Aviator also has a substantial amount of power under the hood, coming standard with a 3L twin turbo V6 that can spit out an impressive 400 horsepower. An additional hybrid powertrain is available that pairs the same V6 with a 100-horsepower electric motor for a combined 494 horsepower, which can also drive for 18 miles on an empty tank before it has to be recharged.

Smooth Ride

One of the more impressive optional features of the Aviator is the available adaptive suspension system, in which a camera scans the road ahead of the vehicle and provides information in real-time to your suspension system, allowing it to rapidly adapt to uneven surfaces and poor driving conditions.

This can be paired with the available Air Glide suspension system, which uses air pressure to inflate and deflate the suspension of your Aviator instead of relying on traditional springs. This can create a softer, smoother ride, and also adjust your vehicle’s height based on weather conditions. You can even have the Aviator deflate and lower itself, so it’s easier to get into: a major consideration for those with small children or elderly family members.

What’s New in the 2023 Aviator?

The overall changes for the Aviator’s 2023 model year are minor. The Reserve and Black Label trim levels have the option of choosing the Jet appearance package, which replaces the standard chrome accents with jet black accents. Two additional colors are also available: Diamond Red which is a vibrant ruby color and Jewel Sandstone which is a metallic champagne color.

Beyond that, the only other major change for the 2023 Aviator is the addition of the Illumination package for the hybrid Grand Touring and Black Label Grand Touring trims, which add LED headlights, taillights, fog lamps, running lights and an illuminated Lincoln logo to the vehicle.
