The 2024 Lincoln Aviator is a midsize three-row luxury SUV offering a premium driving experience in both busy urban environments and on the open road alike. Wherever you’re driving your 2024 Aviator, you can rest assured that you and your passengers are well-protected, kept safe by a bevy of advanced safety and security features. The following are five of the best safety features you’ll find as standard and available in Lincoln’s latest Aviator.

Pre-Collision Assist

Your Aviator constantly scans the road ahead and can detect collision threats with other vehicles or even pedestrians. It then gives you an alert, both audibly and visually, while Dynamic Brake Support also pre-charges the brakes to make slowing or stopping easier.

If you fail to respond instantly to an imminent threat, your car can then automatically activate the brakes for you. Pre-Collision Assist comes as standard on all models and can be supplemented by the Available Evasive Steering Assist, which provides additional steering support to help you maneuver quickly around a suddenly stopped vehicle.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Another standard feature is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System, which helps ensure that your tires are always at optimal PSI. Most drivers check their tire air pressure once or twice a month. With the 2024 Aviator, you’ll know the moment a slightly under or overinflated tire is putting you at risk of a blowout or skid.

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control

This optional feature takes a great deal of stress out of lengthy highway drives and busy traffic commutes alike. With advanced camera and radar technology, your SUV can monitor distances from the vehicles ahead and make continual adjustments to the gas and brakes to keep you at an optimal safe distance. It can even stop and restart again in stop-and-go traffic.

Not only does Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control make all kinds of trips easier, but it also reduces driver fatigue, a safety risk for many drivers. With Speed Sign Recognition, it can even keep you safely within the speed limit at all times.

Reverse Brake Assist

Backing up can be a risky moment for many drivers. With limited visibility, you can’t always be sure of the exact distances from obstacles behind you. Reverse Brake Assist is an available feature that allows your SUV to know precise distances from anything behind you and apply the brakes if you’re about to bump against something.

360-Degree Camera

Further awareness of your car’s immediate surroundings can be provided by the optional 360-Degree Camera feature. This feature merges a variety of external camera imagery to create an accurate real-time, bird’s-eye view image of your vehicle on the dashboard.
