The Lincoln Perfect Position seats not only look different from other car seats, but they’re in a class of their own. As your Lincoln dealer, we want to tell you what makes these seats the pinnacle of automotive seat design.

Importance of Seat Adjustability
The longer you spend behind the wheel without a break, the greater the chance you can develop cramps or kinks. These pains contribute to driver fatigue, which slows down your ability to react quickly in an emergency, making an accident more likely to happen. Most drivers’ seats are power or manually adjustable up to 10 ways, with the most advanced non-Lincoln seats allowing 18-way adjustability to combat this fatigue.
30-Way Adjustability
Perfect Position seats offer 24-way and 30-way power adjustability, depending on your Lincoln model. This allows you to adjust almost every part of the seat to your needs. You can also fine-tune your comfort by adjusting individual parts of the seat, such as allowing one leg to be raised higher than the other.
Breaking down your seat adjustment options, this gives you:
- 6 track positions
- 2 recline positions
- 4 head restraint positions
- 2 upper back bolster positions
- 2 back bolster positions
- 2 cushion bolster positions
- 4 lumbar support positions
- 4 thigh support positions
- 4 cushion extension options
Inside a Seat
Perfect Position seats are manufactured using a strong yet flexible thin comfort carrier made from a plastic substrate. An advanced suspension system is then added, which works with the substrate to conform to your body. The suspension system is modular, so each section can move in multiple directions. A layer of polyurethane foam then covers the suspension system to provide additional comfort.
The final step is to cover them. Perfect Position seats are upholstered in leather for longevity and durability. Leather also becomes softer over time, making a seat even more comfortable. Higher trim levels in Lincoln’s upgrade this even further to premium Venetian or Savannah leather.
Massage Function
Depending on your Lincoln model, Perfect Position seats have a massage option as standard or available. While other massage seats give you the equivalent of a back rub, these advanced seats can do so much more. Their massage function allows you to choose from five options: Circular, Rolling, Pulse, Recovery, and Relax, depending on your needs.
You can also adjust the massage intensity by selecting High, Medium, or Low. Your seat adjustment choices enable the massage function to zone in on specific areas to improve blood circulation and prevent cramps and other pains.
Additional Comfort Features
Perfect Position seats also offer heating and ventilation to keep you warm or cool, depending on the weather.
