2023 Lincoln Aviator

The first trim level in the 2023 Aviator is the Standard, which announces its arrival with a chrome mesh upper grille flanked by full LED headlights. This trim also features quad chrome exhaust tips, while the Reserve adds a power liftgate with hands-free access. On the Grand Touring Plug-In Hybrid, you'll find a bright chrome upper grille, and on the Lincoln Black Label, you'll notice the signature Lincoln Black Label grille, which you can outfit with an available illuminated Lincoln Star. Last but not least is the Lincoln Black Label Grand Touring Plug-In Hybrid, which sits atop bright machined aluminum wheels measuring 21 inches and featuring Ebony accents.

Pop open the Aviator's hood, and you'll find a 400-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine that generates 415 pound-feet of torque. The engine's start-stop technology enables the Aviator to conserve fuel by shutting the engine off when the vehicle pulls up to a stop sign or red light. With the Plug-In Hybrid models, you'll enjoy a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 that Lincoln pairs with an electric motor to produce 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. This mighty powertrain is also quite efficient, giving the Aviator a 21-mile all-electric driving range.

Lincoln equips conventional Aviator models with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the Plug-In Hybrid models get a modular hybrid transmission. Both systems improve engine response while delivering seamless gear shifts for precise acceleration and sharp handling. The Standard and Reserve feature a nimble rear-wheel-drive system that gives these models incredible flexibility for maneuvering through traffic and conquering tight corners. Upper trim levels come equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system that can adjust torque and traction for all four wheels depending on changes in weather and terrain. Upper trims also let you take advantage of an adaptive suspension that makes every ride more comfortable, regardless of driving conditions.

With the 2023 Aviator lineup, you can choose between six- and seven-seater cabins. Both configurations offer ample passenger space and comfy seating surfaces that are durable and easy to clean. When the rear seats are unoccupied, you can fold them flat for 77.7 cubic feet of cargo space. Depending on which trim you choose, you'll also enjoy amenities like an automatic air refresher, quad-zone temperature controls, and heating and ventilation for the first- and second-row seats. Every Aviator features a SYNC 3 infotainment system that teams up with a 10-speaker sound system in the Standard. Midlevel trims feature a 14-speaker system, while upper trims get an audio system with 28 speakers.

The 2023 Aviator comes equipped with a pre-collision assist that can detect vehicles and pedestrians as they enter your path and apply the brakes as needed. Meanwhile, reverse brake assist scans for approaching traffic when driving in reverse. With the adaptive cruise control, you can choose your preferred cruising speed, and the system will maintain it while keeping your Aviator a safe distance from other vehicles.
