2022 Lincoln Navigator

The new Navigator comes with a newly styled front and rear end. Changes include new exterior lighting elements and a redesigned grille. The 2022 Navigator is offered in two body styles: the standard Navigator and the Navigator L, which is a long-wheelbase model that's almost 12 inches longer. You can also choose from three trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label. An abundance of premium standard exterior features are provided with the Standard trim. Apart from 20-inch wheels, the base trim is equipped with power running boards, LED external lighting, a hands-free liftgate, and a dual bright exhaust system. The Reserve trim adds 22-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and illuminated power running boards. With the range-topping Black Label trim, you receive unique 22-inch aluminum wheels and an illuminated Lincoln Star in the grille.

All Navigator trims are powered by a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain generates 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive comes standard and four-wheel drive is optional, except for the Black Label trim, which is equipped with a standard four-wheel-drive system.

You can expect a cushioned ride from the Navigator. The SUV is equipped with an adaptive suspension with a road preview system that works with cameras to evaluate the road ahead. In addition, the SUV remains composed on winding roads and also provides balanced handling and respectable fuel economy. Front-wheel-drive models deliver a rating of 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. When properly equipped, the Navigator can tow up to 8,700 pounds.

Both standard and L models can seat eight or seven passengers, depending on whether you opt for the available second-row captain's chairs. The interior is spacious, with all three rows providing ample space for passengers. You also receive plenty of cargo space. Folding both rear rows down in a standard model opens up a maximum cargo area of 103 cubic feet. The new 13.2-inch infotainment system is equipped with Sync 4 software, which is capable of over-the-air updates. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, 14 speakers, and an onboard 5G Wi-Fi hot spot. The base trim is also fitted with heated and ventilated front seats, heated and ventilated second-row seats, and power-folding second-row and third-row seats. For the 2022 model year, rear-seat passengers receive an upgraded available rear entertainment system and also an available seat massaging function.

With its comprehensive suite of standard driver-assist features, the Navigator will keep you safe on the road. Standard systems include forward-collision warning, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping system. You also receive a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and evasive steer assist.
