LINCOLN CORSAIR VS. CADILLAC XT4

  • Both models come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine but the Lincoln Corsair leaves the Cadillac XT4 in the dust by outputting more horsepower and more pound-feet of torque. Standard output for the new Lincoln Corsair clocks in at 250 horsepower, while the base powertrain on the Cadillac XT4 clocks in at just 237 horsepower. When you upgrade to the twin-scroll turbocharged 2.3-liter in the Lincoln Corsair, you can easily outpace the Cadillac SUV with up to 295 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque .
  • Both models offer seating for five but passengers in the front row of the Lincoln SUV will find more room to stretch out their legs and passengers in the back seat will discover they can sit up a little straighter than they could in the Cadillac XT4. Couple that with the fact that the new Lincoln Corsair offers most cargo capacity behind its second row than the Cadillac XT4, and you'll see why this small luxury SUV is a favorite among drivers who love taking long road trips here in the greater Detroit, MI area
  • Wanting to maximize the amount of space you take up? Go with the Lincoln Corsair as it offers 57.6 cubic-feet of storage area while the Cadillac XT4 only provides 48.9 cubic-feet of luggage space. Plenty of room for shopping trips or weekend plans with the family can be found with the Lincoln Corsair, while the new Cadillac XT4 often leaves its drivers wanting for more space.

  • While both models offer a variety of amenities that make your trips more pleasant, you'll find a bit more to do inside the Lincoln Corsair. It comes standard with the SYNC® 3 system, an eight-inch touchscreen and a premium audio system with ten speakers. The Cadillac keeps up with its eight-inch infotainment system but falls behind in sound quality with only seven speakers.
  • Both models offer an optional package of driver assistance features to help you keep an extra pair of eyes on the road. With a Lane-Keeping System and Pre-Collision Braking, you'll be offered peace of mind at the wheel of either SUV.
  • While it's not available yet, the new Lincoln Corsair is set to debut a plug-in hybrid variant, dubbed the Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring, in the near future. Unfortunately for the Cadillac XT4, no such plug-in hybrid variant is planned, making it a less flexible vehicle overall for hybrid car shoppers here in the greater Detroit area.
